Can’t make it to Pamplona, Spain? Join us at the Historic downtown Main Street in New Iberia, LA on Saturday, April 27th for “Running of the Bulls” 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run. This event kicks off the 7th Annual El Festival Espanol de Nueva Iberia: “Spain Alive” Celebrating 240th anniversary of the founding of New Iberia. Bring your Fur-companion(s) for our annual Dog-Friendly race. Proceeds dedicated to New Iberia and Spain Student Exchange Program & Activities.
Participants may dress in white shirt, and white shorts/pants with a red sash around neck and waist, just like the historic Bull Run in Pamplona, Spain.

The race will take place rain or shine, however for safety reasons course or start time may be altered. Waivers must be signed day of race. Shirts not guaranteed if registered after April 20th.
“Running of the Bulls...Dogs”
Dogs are Welcome but not required to enter race. Dogs are encouraged to come dressed in white with red sash or dressed as a bull, BE CREATIVE! Award will be given for “best dressed dog.” We encourage all participants to donate items in need/help raise money for Angel Paw’s Adoption Center located in New Iberia. Please be aware that other dogs and is been attending the event so we ask all participants to be mindful and respectful to each other and the dogs.
Price includes full day of activities for the whole family! Race concludes with Awards, Parade, Food, Music & Entertainment, Arts & Crafts Show, Paella/Jambalaya Cook-off, Spanish Dessert Bake-off, Spanish Merchandise, Children's Fun and Games Booth, & Much More.
